Smart Card Readers

We now have Smart Card Readers for all LCL locations thanks to a generous donation Ray Bower!

What is a Common Access Card?
A Common Access Card (CAC) is an ID card issued to military personnel and some government employees.

What is a Smart Reader?
A smart reader is a small device that reads the Common Access Card. The reader connects to a computer via a USB port.

What is it for?
Military personnel can use the smart reader together with their Common Access Card to access their pay stubs or W-2s.
