The Lakewood branch of Licking County Library opened in October 2025, a result of merging the previous Buckeye Lake and Hebron branches. Because the two locations in close proximity resulted in the duplication of services within a localized area, the new, larger space was opened in Hebron. It is conveniently located in a shopping center and has a larger collection and addition of a meeting room/programming space.
