This historical display from The Gilder Lehrman Institute of American History examines Frederick Douglass and his escape from slavery, his work as an abolitionist, and his relentless fight for equality for all individuals during the Jim Crow era. Learn about Douglass' experiences, courage, and mastery of words represented in this exhibit.

When Nature Strikes: Disasters in Licking County
