Jane Austen: 250 Years of a Timeless Voice

December 16, 2025, marks the 250th anniversary of Jane Austen’s birth. Jane Austen is known for introducing dramatic plots about ordinary people to the English novel. Her themes of love and marriage resound throughout her work of distinctive characters, making her a timeless voice in literature. Licking County Library celebrates throughout the season with an interactive exhibit in The Collective and a variety of programs and activities for all ages.
